Meet Chelle the Nutritional Medicine Practitioner

Hello!

Chelle Christensen
BHSc.

Australian Qualified Clinical Nutritionist & Holistic Health Practitioner

Meet Chelle the Nutritional Medicine Practitioner

I am a qualified clinical nutritionist, also known as a nutritional medicine practitioner. I hold an Australian-recognised Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) degree and am a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).

I have suffered years of PCOS, clinical depression, anxiety, and high blood pressure, to name a few things, along with other signs and symptoms of ill health. I have been able to overcome a lot of these health conditions and concerns through nutritional medicine, and I am still working towards optimal health.

I felt there had to be a natural way to help heal myself, and don't get me wrong, there is a place for science and the Western world of medicine. This is why I believe in a HOLISTIC approach to healing, by combining all practices of healing to help the whole individual person, and this is why I have chosen my part in the evidence-based practice of healing through nutritional medicine and lifestyle modification.

My personal holistic approach to healing myself includes a wide range of healers who specialise in medicine, nutrition, exercise, osteopathy, and massages, just to name a few. I continue combining these therapies while always working hard towards change and maintaining my own habits, exercising, eating whole foods, and sleeping. I never suggest, recommend or guide any person as a part of their individualized treatment plans to do anything that I am not willing to do myself.

Nutritional medicine, along with lifestyle modification, is a powerful healing tool we all have at our fingertips. I am here to help you understand how to use these tools to your advantage and navigate a world of easily accessible and addictive ultra-processed food within this high-pressure, fast-paced world.

We all need someone who is understanding, non-judgmental and caring and who has experienced how cruel life can be. I am someone who will stand in your corner, who will support and guide you through your own health concerns and struggles.

The book of learning for me is never closed, and I will continue to learn and develop as many skills as I can to help others understand their unique nutritional needs and lifestyle modifications to help pave the way to a better and healthier life.
